Sam's Spring Program

Today Charlie, Kaylee and Jake didn't have school.  I had an hour's worth of parent teacher conferences instead.  The fun part of this is that Sam did have preschool and usually Sam drops Charlie, Kaylee and Jake off with me first and then I drop him off.  Today Charlie, Kaylee and Jake had the opportunity to drop Sam off with me.  They must have given him this triple hug for a solid minute!  It was so sweet!

The picture above is of my mommy/Charlie, Kaylee, Jake date this morning after we dropped Sam off and before my conference with their teacher.  It was really fun.  They know that Sam and I have mommy/Sam dates on Wednesdays when they have school but he doesn't.  It was really fun for them and for me to have this special date with them this morning.

The video below is of Sam performing in his Spring Program.  This is the first time Sam has ever been in any kind of program.  We had no idea what to expect from him, but he did great!  We were all so proud of him!

(Well Still Working on Getting the Video Upload to Work)

The pictures below are what even made me want to write this post.  I don't want to forget what Charlie did.  I thought this was a majorly sweet big brother move on Charlie's part and I'm so proud of him for being such an awesome big brother to Sam. Sam fell asleep on our way home this afternoon and I transferred him to the couch.  He ended up sleeping through the the "Peter Pan" movie.  I did too.  It was a very full day!  You could tell that Charlie must have been continuing to check if Sam was awake because the first second he opened his eyes Charlie ran right over with the most loving voice saying, "Sam do you want to open your eggs now?  Kaylee opened some of them and took the candy out but I filled them all up again with treats for you and closed up the eggs.  Do you want me to help you open them?"
(Sam had an Easter Egg Hunt at school today and we were waiting until we got home to open them but then he fell asleep and his sister raided his eggs but then Charlie refilled them and closed them up for Sam and couldn't wait to bring them to him to open)

Triplets LOVE our Plus One

Sam woke up sick this morning with a fever and the stomach bug.  I am so thankful that our kids love each other so much.  Sam's two big brothers and big sister have been very caring of Sam all day and feel so badly for him that he is sick.

Charlie thought of an idea to help Sam and ran upstairs.  He returned with lots of lovies to keep Sam company.  Charlie also cuddled up under the blanket with Sam too.
Later this afternoon Sam fell asleep on Kaylee.  Kaylee said to me, "Mom come look.  Sam fell asleep on me.  I'm not going to move.  I don't want to wake him up.  I guess I'll have to eat my mac and cheese (dinner) here tonight."

So they were all so sweet today.  I'm just crossing my fingers that they all don't get sick.  That does not make for fun times at our house if we all get the stomach bug.

Single Stroller Zoo Visit!!:)

Last weekend was our first visit to the zoo without either our triplet mountain buggy, Peg Perego triple stroller, our quad stroller, or even our double baby jogger city mini with gliding board!  All we brought with us was one lightweight single stroller.  It was awesome!

I will also say that I am thankful for all of the strollers we were able to use at our previous visits to the zoo.  They made zoo trips possible.

We had a great time.  It was a beautiful day and it was an extra special day at the zoo because one of their preschool friends came with us too!

Family Weekend In Roanoke

This post has taken me way to long to do.  We had a fantastic weekend with Nathan's dad and his brother and his family in Roanoke, Virginia back in January.  I'd like to thank my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for sharing all of the wonderful photos that they took over our long weekend together.  These photos tell the story of our weekend with Nathan's side of the family.  Charlie, Jake, Kaylee and Sam had the greatest time playing with their "big" cousin Logan all weekend.  Of course we did bring many Star Wars toys and costumes with us to Poppo's house and they played with them non-stop all weekend.  We also couldn't leave home without their Stuffies and CuddleUppets which they also enjoyed playing with over our long weekend in Virginia.  I love pictures and I'm very thankful for the following pictures that captured all of the fun we had together back in January at Poppo's house!
